Pablo Cuartero Calcerrada (Madrid, 2001) lives and works between Spain and Murano, Italy. He studied Wall Applied Arts at the Escuela de Arte La Palma in Madrid, the historic school of arts and crafts, where he discovered and fell in love with traditional techniques and craftsmanship.

That training, together with his attachment to an ancient, popular, and mythical Mediterranean—shaped by memories of his inland hometown and the white coasts of his summers, always surrounded by sun‑drenched olive groves and vineyards—nourishes his gaze and his practice.

From these symbolic spaces he moves away from modern noise to seek ancestral faces, hierophantic creatures, and expressions of the ancient feeling of the sacred, in order to recover the popular archetypes that distill his visual universe.
